backstory:
Born during the 525 year civil war of avians, he was trained for combat as soon as he could walk and fly. When he turned 450, he was drafted into the war. He fought for the rebellion. Almost all of his friends died in the civil war and thanks to his prolonged combat training and brief time in the war (one year), he was able to get out of the war with minimal injuries. He was also taught healing magic and meditation for the last decade of his training. He was put in prolonged training because they noticed his dual personality. They trained both personalities according to their traits, one personality was more aggressive and prone to sudden bloodlust, the other was a stark contrast. His other side was kind, level headed, and preferred defensive tactics to wear down the opponent. Both sides were very good at dodging and parrying oncoming attacks. The transition from one personality to another was quick and random. It would even happen during mid battle and wasn't hard to miss since the change in battle tactics was sudden as well. It often confused the opponents but it was taxing on his body since he'd be in mid-swing and the kind side would have to use a lot of energy and focus to force his body to stop what it was doing, likewise, it took a lot of energy for his aggressive side to stop in mid-spell since a spell is hard to stop once it was started. After the war, he spent a lot of time as a guard for his people as they rebuilt cities and villages. That took a few centuries. As the years went on, both sides became colder, with the occasional flicker of warmth as he made connections to some of his people. Now he is a guard for the school for supernaturals. He trains other guards and keeps the students in line if needed. He's learned to curb his blood lust when he isn't in battle through meditation.

So he's cold on the inside but his outward attitude doesn't show it, the only difference is his outward attitude is less patient. Both wings have very sharp and hard feathers, their usually mistaken for daggers shaped like feathers. His eyes are always mistaken as actual golden amber stones
